If you don't have one of these on your website, I am certain you are losing customers. Look at every great website from great businesses and they will have several of these throughout their websites. But before I tell you what it is, if you'd like help getting the messaging and marketing right for your business, email me on firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to help. So, what's the one thing you absolutely must have on your website? Clear calls to action. But I already have a "Learn more" button on my homepage, Matt. Great that you have that button at least but ask yourself these questions before you move on. Is your call to action button a bright colour that stands out from everything else on your website? Is your call to action button repeated throughout your website? And finally, is the language on your call to action button passive or assertive? If your call to action button says "Learn more", you're using passive language and you're losing potential customers. You need to use direct language to give your website visitors something they can accept or reject. You also need to make your call to action button stand out, not blend in with your core brand colours. And finally, you need to repeat that button throughout your website. Imagine walking into a shop, picking up some clothes to buy them and then not being able to find the checkout. When you make me search for your direct call to action button, it's like hiding the checkout in the storeroom. It should be there right in front of me when I'm ready to buy. So, whatever you do, make sure you're not making this mistake on your website, Have an awesome day people!
